Terms & Conditions


  1. The Event is open to all Malaysians and foreigners who are currently studying/ working and staying in Malaysia.

  2. This is a non-competitive event and there are no prizes for top finishers.

  3. The Participant is entitled for Medal with condition of reaching at finishing line.

  4. The Participant must go to the redemption counter to collect the Medal with valid Bib Number.

  5. The Runner Tee and Medal are not for sale.

  6. The Organiser reserves the right to limit and/ or refuse entry to the Event and/ or other programme(s), event(s), talk(s), demonstration(s) or any other activities involving the Organiser and the Sponsors without giving any reason and/ or notice.

  7. The organization, content, design, graphics, and other materials related to the Official Website and Official Social Media are protected under applicable copyrights and other proprietary laws, including but not limited to intellectual property laws. Without the Organiser’s prior written permission, the copying, reproduction, use, modification or publication of full or part of any such matters or any part of the Official Website and Official Social Media is strictly prohibited.

  8. All ideas, notes, suggestions, concepts and other information suggested and sent by the Participant to the Organiser (collectively, “Submissions”) shall be deemed and shall remain as the Organiser’s sole property and shall not be subjected to any obligation of confidence on the Organiser’s part. Without limiting the foregoing, the Organiser shall be deemed to own all known and hereafter existing rights of every kind and nature regarding the Submissions and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose, without compensation to the provider of the Submissions.

  9. The Organiser may engage the services of third parties to process the Participant’s Personal Data in order to ensure the smooth process of organising the Event. For such purposes, Participant shall be deemed to have given his/her consent to the transfer of all or any Personal Data to any such third party. All such third parties are contractually obliged not to use the Participant’s Personal Data for any other purpose, other than as specified herein or for the purposes of the Event.

  10. The Organiser reserves the right to vary any of the Terms and Conditions of the Event from time to time as they deem fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organiser will consider the interests of all the affected Participant.

  11. Any updates on the Event including any changes to the Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Official Website. It is the responsibility of the Participant to keep him/ herself informed of such updates and changes. The Organiser shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience caused.

  12. If there is any inconsistency between the official website and the online ticketing portals, the Terms and Conditions on the official website shall prevail. 



  1. The Participant must only register through the Portal. Other registration method without authorisation from the Organiser is prohibited, and not accepted.

  2. Each registration ticket registered through the Portal is entitled to one Participant. Duplicate entries will not be entertained.

  3. The Participant must be of 18 and above by or on the Event Date.

  4. Participant aged 18 and below on the Event Date must be registered with Parents or Legal Guardians’ consent. Parents or Legal Guardians that register for the Participant aged 18 and below are deemed aware of the Terms and Conditions and have fully accepted them. Failure to submit the Parental/Legal Guardian Consent Form during the Race Kit Collection may result in disqualification from the run. 

  5. For Student Category (Individual or Group), please upload all the scanning of the Student Cards on the Portal.

  6. By signing up and providing any information, personal or otherwise, in order to participate in the Event or any activity or activities relating to the Event, the Participant is deemed to have agreed/ given express permission of the following:

    • Authorization to the Organiser to collect, process, organise and retain personal data relating to the Participant.

    • The personal data of the Participant, including names, photographs and audio, and/ or visual recording, to be published and displayed for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and prior notification to the participants of the Event and/ or for statistical analysis for planning and improvement of the Event.

    • The Participant shall be deemed to have withdrawn from the Event if he/ she withdraws his/ her consent or authorization given at any time before the Event starts.

  7. The Participant may only take part in the Event provided he/ she has completed the registration form fully and truthfully and paid the registration fee in full.

  8. The Organiser will neither entertain nor be in any way of responsibility for any disputes arising from incomplete or inaccurate registration details in the registration form.

  9. Completion of the Official Online Registration confirms the Participant’s intention to abide by the Event’s Terms and Conditions.

  10. If the Participant provides any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or the Organiser has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, the Organiser may suspend or terminate the Participant’s registration, with no refund.

  11. The Organiser will not be held liable for any additional interest or fees charged by the Participant’s bank or credit card during the purchase of registration.

  12. The Participant is strictly not allowed to transfer the race entry to third party or change the race category after the registration is confirmed.

  13. All registrations are based on a First-Come First-Serve basis unless otherwise stated.

  14. The Organiser reserves the right to close the registration before the deadline without any prior notice and/ or when the quota is full.

  15. All registrations must be done before/ by the deadline. Any registration on the spot will not be entertained.


  1. The Participant must show the QR Code upon Race Kit Collections for verification. Failure to do so will result in disqualification without refund.

  2. Bundle collection is allowed with the authorisation letter from the individual(s).

  3. For Student Category (Individual or Group), please bring along all the Student Cards during Race Kit Collection for verification.

  4. All Race Kits are to be collected before the Event Date at designated venue and no requests will be entertained thereafter.

  5. Change in Runner Tee size during Race Kit Collection is strictly not allowed. The Participant must adhere to the size registered in the registration form.

  6. The Participant shall be responsible for the Race Kit after it has been collected. The Organiser will not oblige to re-issue, exchange or compensate any lost/ damage Race Kit.



  1. The Participant is to keep the cleanliness of the venue.

  2. The Participant is expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner during the Event. This means, for example, urinating or defecating anywhere on or near the course shall be strictly prohibited except in toilet facilities. Anyone violating this rule of conduct shall be disqualified from the Event and will be asked to leave the course.



  1. The Participant who own vehicles is required to make sure the vehicles would not cause any traffic problem.

  2. The Participant is encouraged to take public transport.



  1. The Participant must run on the designated path for the entire race. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

  2. No pets or any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g. inline skates, prams, push cars, shoes with built-in or attached rollers are allowed on the course other than official race and medical vehicles.

  3. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Race Routes as the Organiser deems fit for the safety of the Participant and/or to prevent any potential hazards during the running of the Event, at any time without prior notice to the Participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participant prior to the Event Date. The Organiser shall not be held liable for any loss or inconvenience caused due to such changes.



  1. The Organiser reserves the right to change the Event Date and/ or Venue or postpone or cancel the Event for any reason whatsoever including unforeseeable circumstances (i.e. due to occurrence of any incident, condition or event that are beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser and which, in the Organiser’s opinion, renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event such as haze, storm, rain, inclement weather, wind, act of God, terrorism or other conditions) at any time without prior notice to the Participant, in which case the Organiser will inform the Participant prior to the Event Date.

  2. The Organiser takes no responsibility for items lost, damaged or misplaced during the Event.

  3. The Organiser reserves the right to take any photographs including participants, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of the Event for any legitimate purpose.

  4. The Participant will be provided a Bib Number and is expected to wear conspicuously during the Event. No Participant shall be permitted to participate in the Event without Bib Number.

  5. The Participant must follow the instructions as given from all Event Officials throughout the duration of the Event.

  6. The Participant who refuses to obey the directions of the Event Officials, or who conducts himself/ herself/ themselves in an unsportsmanlike manner, or who is/ are offensive by action or language to event officials may be disqualified from the Event and future participation at the discretion of race officials.

  7. Displaying or expressing explicit political, philosophical or religious views or making statements that may be considered offensive, hurtful or insulting, in any way, during the Event is prohibited and the individual may be disqualified from the Event.

  8. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the Participant if he/ she/ they is/ are in breach of any Terms and Conditions.



  1. Participation is at the Participant's own risk. The Participant hereby release, waive, discharge, and relinquishes any action or causes of action for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death which may occur during the Event or any pursuit incidental thereto. The Participant further agree that under no circumstances will they prosecute or present any claim against the Organiser, or any member, legal entity or person associated with the Event (together, the “Organiser’s vendors”) for any causes of action, personal injury, property damage, or death, whether the same shall arise by the negligence or non-intentional conduct of any of the Organiser during the Event or any pursuit incidental thereto.

  2. The Participant acknowledges that participation in the Event may be physically strenuous. It is acknowledged that participation in the Event may be physically demanding and the Participant is aware of the nature of the Event and associated medical and physical risks involved.

  3. The Participant should agree to be solely responsible for own actions and that the Organiser is not responsible for any injury, illness or expenses that the Participant may suffer as a result of participation in the Event.

  4. Prior to and during the Event, the Participant will be responsible for their own safety. The Participant will take all reasonable care to ensure the safety of other Participant and will comply promptly with all instructions and guidelines given by the Event Officials.

  5. The Participant consents to any medical treatment being administered during the Event by Official Medically-Qualified Personnel.

  6. The Organiser may prevent the Participant from taking part in the Event (either at the start or during the Event) if the Organiser or Medical Representative considers that the Participant should not participate in the Event for health and/ or medical reasons.

  7. The Participant hereby give permission to the Organiser’s Medical Staff to inform the Participant’s next of kin in case of hospitalisation.

  8. The Organiser reserves the right to eject any Participant deemed physically incapable of continuing the race to prevent him/ her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/ herself.

  9. Parents or Legal Guardians will be taking full responsibility of any injuries or happenings that befall upon the Participant aged 17 and below. The Organiser will not be held accountable in any situation.

  10. Children who aged below 12 years old must be accompanied throughout the Event by his/ her Parents or Legal Guardians.



  1. If the Participant is unable to participate in the Event, the entry fee and additional orders that has been paid will not be refunded.

  2. The Organiser will not be held responsible or held liable in any way for any loss or damage howsoever arising from the said registration cancellation and refunds.

  3. There will be strictly no refund available if the Event is cancelled or postponed for reason of force majeure i.e. due to occurrence of incidents that are beyond the control of the Organiser or acts of God which renders it impossible or unsafe to hold the Event.

  4. The Organiser reserves the right to reject any entrant or disqualify any Participant who is suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or banned substances or any Participant who fails to prove his/ her identity or eligibility. The Participant proved dishonest will be disqualified without refund.

  5. If the Participant is found to be submitting the invalid Student Card i.e. the Participant has graduated, or the Participant misuses others’ Student Card, the Participant will be disqualified from the Event, without any refund.

  6. The Organiser reserves the right to remove the Participant from the Event or prevent the Participant participating in the Event if the Organiser considers such action necessary for safety reasons or the proper enjoyment of the Event by other Participant or for any other reasonable reason. No refund shall be made.



  1. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement or course of performance.

  2. Fresh Events, its directors, employees, partners, licensees, agents, suppliers, and its affiliates do not warrant that: -

  • The service provided will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any time or location.

  • Any errors or defects will be corrected.

  • The service provided is free of viruses or other harmful components.

  • The results of using the service provided will meet your requirements.

  • The ‘Organiser’                               - The group of people who organize the Event, which are the students of Tuanku Bahiyah Residential College,

                                                                    Universiti Malaya, in collaboration with The National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM).

  • The ‘Event Officials’                        - Race staff, Volunteers, Official Medical Personnel, Security Officers, Marshals and City Officials
